JANUARY
Animal Aid Foundation / L.C.B.O. Coin Box Fundraising Drive Donate your loose change through the LCBO stores coin box program and help Animal Aid Foundation fund veterinary medical care programs of local animal charities. Coin boxes are conveniently located at all LCBO cash registers during the month of January 2009.
Animal Aid Foundation 2009 Spring Clean Up Book Drive
Don't discard your used books. Donate them to the Animal Aid Foundation Read For Pets Charity Book Sale. The Foundation accepts donations of new and gently used books, CDs, DVDs, videos, comic books and sheet music year-round and has a number of drop-off locations at volunteer's homes in north and south Mississauga and Oakville. Retail drop-off locations also available in the Spring in Streetsville, Clarkson and Meadowvale. To find the drop off location closest to you, call (905) 990-PETS (7387) or e-mail info@animalaidfoundation.ca . We'll find a new home for your books. You'll help us find a new home for an animal. Proceeds help to fund the veterinary medical care programs of local animal charities.

Animal Aid Foundation Plant Sale Fundraiser
If you buy annuals each Spring, consider buying your plants from Animal Aid. You can beautify and add curb appeal to your home and help the animals at the same time. The selection includes two of the best selling bedding plants -- geraniums and impatiens, as well as dracaena spikes. Prices are comparable to what you would spend if you were buying plants from a retail outlet, and in some cases lower. All prices include GST and PST. Deadline for orders is 12 noon on Thursday April 30th. Pick up date is Saturday May 16th from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. E-mail info@animalaidfoundation.ca for your order form today. Streetsville Bread and Honey Festival Parade
Saturday June 6th. Queen Street, Streetsville
Come out and see the grade three class from St. Dunstan's School perform in the Animal Aid Foundation Walking Group. The children have been purr-fecting their dance moves and animal mannerisms, for weeks! Instead of CATS on Broadway this is KITTENS on Queen Street. Puppies too. Oh so cute! A real must-see. Parade starts at 9 a.m.
Animal Aid Foundation Read For Pets® Charity Used Book Sale
Saturday June 6th. Main Street, Streetsville
From sunup to sundown during the 37th Annual Bread and Honey Festival. Main Street will be closed off for the sale. With more than 25,000 books in more than 35 subject categories – from general fiction, mystery, romance and thrillers to kids books, cookbooks, self-help and crafts and hobbies, there is sure to be something for everyone.

Blessing of the Animals with the Anglican Church -- Sunday, October 4, 2009
Join Animal Aid Foundation and the Anglican Church of Mississauga at the annual Blessing of the Animals events. All animals are welcome. Owners are encouraged to leash and/or cage their pets. The times and locations are as follows:

1:30 pm at St. Francis of Assissi Anglican Church, 6945 Meadowvale Town Centre Circle

The Hershey SportZone is located at 5600 Rose Cherry Place (Matheson Blvd. just East of Kennedy Road) Mississauga. Ample parking available. In addition to the huge selection of used books, CDs, DVDs and videos will also be on sale as well as new books for early Christmas shoppers. Proceeds from the event will help to fund the veterinary medical care programs of local animal charities.
